Fantasy Super Bowl Edition of Top 5 Loot-Less Fantasy Performances: WEEK 16

We have some pretty upset fantasy owners this week due to the following awful fantasy performances put up in week 16.
If you started any of the following players in your Fantasy Super Bowl, you probably got your butt kicked. In our own Flootball Staff Championship, one of the contenders started Foster, Shaub, AND Hernandez. Everybody, let us laugh at him together, muhahahahaha... ha.. heh. That felt good. Anyway, here are the top 5 Loot-less Fantasy performances of week 16.

A fumble vs. Dallas that looked a lot like his fumble against Minn.
1. Arian Foster- The collective "insert expletive" exclaimed from the mouths of Arian Foster owners last Sunday could be heard from Calgary to Carolina. Foster finished with a paltry 15 yards rushing & 14 receiving with a fumbled lost, all while the Texans got roughed up by Minnesota in a bad loss. Foster left in the 3rd Qtr with concerns of a heart issue which thankfully ended up not being serious. Foster is supposed to play next Sunday and he should still be considered a must start option for that game. The Texans need a win to clinch home field in the playoffs. In fact, any Texans player is the closest thing to a lock you will get in week 17 football.

2. Darren McFadden- Due to injuries and an up and down Oakland offense, McFadden has been a pretty big fantasy disappointment this year. Owners were hoping that McFadden would finish strong against a weak Panthers D in week 16 after seeing him put up 110 and a td against KC in week 15. But, no dice. After Carson Palmer was taken out of the game in the first half, the offense sputtered. McFadden was stuffed by the Panthers all game, holding him to just 33 yards rushing & 17 receiving. Think twice about starting McFadden next week, as Palmer is done for the year, and the Chargers held McFadden to just 32 yards in week

3. Aaron Hernandez- Caught only 1 pass for 13 yards against freakin' Jacksonville in week 16. This was a big letdown for Hernandez owners because the previous two fantasy playoff weeks, Hernandez combined for 3 Td's to go with 150 yards receiving.  Even with Gronk still out with an injury, Hernandez didn't benefit statisically. He was dropping passes a'plenty and generally looked like a rookie out there. Look for a bounce back game against Miami next week, as Gronk should still be out of play.

4. Matt Shaub- Shaub did not pick up the slack for Foster's poor performance on Sunday, totaling just 178 yards in the air with ZERO Tds. Besides Shaub's 5 Td's performance against an awful Jacksonville defense in week 11, Shaub has been a  big disappointment all year. Is there a more boring QB to own in fantasy? I suspect many fantasy owners are ruing the day they ever drafted this bum, especially with a guy like Russell Wilson sitting on the waiver wire all year.

5. Chris Johnson- It has become clear this year that if Johnson doesn't break one of his signature 50+ yards Td runs, his fantasy production is going to be subpar. And subpar he was against the Packers in week 16, finishing with just 28 yards rushing and 13 yards receiving. Ouch. Of course, I wouldn't have recommended starting any Titans players in week 16, as they were playing @Lambeu with absolutely nothing to play for. All and all, its been another disappointing fantasy year for CJ.
