Capturing A Kaepernick: Sleeper duel threat QB's for 2013

A couple of years ago, the sudden prevalence of  NFL teams going with a "running back by committee" started to weaken the running back spot as the Primary Fantasy Point Producing Position (also known as the PFPPP). And now with all these run and gun , spread'em out college style offenses in the NFL, Quarterbacks are starting to gobble all of your running back's rushing TDs as well.  So what gives? Are QB's the new PFPPP? Is PFPPP an actual acronym? And most importantly, where can I find my own sleeper PFPPP duel threat QB?

The cat's already outta the bag this year for guys like Kaepernick, RGIII, Russell "the love muscle" Wilson, and Cam Newton. So who might take the league by storm this year as the next great duel threat QB? The following are the 3 guys you will definitely be able to snag fairly late in your draft (or off waivers), if you are looking for a duel threat QB diamond in the rough:

3. Terelle Pryor- I have to be honest, after the tumultuous way in which Pryor made it to the NFL, I never thought he would claw his way in a starting spot. But here we are. Pryor has dazzled in the preseason this year, being efficient with the football, and just seems to energize the offensive when he's under center in a way Matt Flynn just doesn't. Speaking of Flynn, you've gotta feel sorry for this guy; He gets kicked out of Seattle by Russell Wilson, then loses his starting job with the raiders to Pryor. He should try the Jaguars next. Look for Pryor to turn heads this season and be a viable #2 QB. That said, I would let him go undrafted, but keep a close eye -WAIT & SEE

2. E.J Manuel- Manuel certainly  looked to have the Bills starting QB spot locked up after 2 preseason games, clearly besting veteran Kevin Kolb in his performances. However Manuel has missed the rest of the preseason with a knee injury, which throws his starting spot back up into the air. While he is supposedly "on track" to be ready for week 1, fantasy owners should let him go undrafted and watch how he plays, if at all, in the first week.  But with a number of super offensive weapons around him, namely C.J Spiller, Manuel has the best chance of any of the incoming rookie QB class to fill your PFPPP.
 -WAIT & SEE

1. Mike Vick- Oh, you may have heard of this guy, he's Marcus Vick's brother....Yes Vick is a well-known veteran, but he still deserves to be mentioned as a sleeper this year. After an amazing post-prison 2010 season, Vick has been who we thought he was; a QB that throws facepalm inducing interceptions and gets injured on the reg. So he's been an afterthought the last two years in fantasy.

But in new coach Chip Kelly's up-tempo Oregon style offensive, Vick has a chance for a fantasy Renaissance on par with his 2010 season. This was the offense Vick was born to run. With a healthy DeSean Jackson, and an electric LeSean McCoy in the backfield, the sky is the limit. That is, as long as Vick can stay healthy.
-Draft him as your starting QB in the late late rounds and shock the world.
